Singapore is a great gateway to Asia.
For tourists who have never been to Asia, we highly recommend to go first to Singapore.
No hygiene problems, no fuss about food, great hotels and services. Fantastic infrastructure. Good shopping deals, though not as cheap as the neighboring countries.

Not to mention the many food courts in every corners of Singapore!

Customizing Number- Ranges for Plant- Maintenance in SAP

As an SAP- Professional in my company i have to do some customizing work in our SAP Plant Maintenance System.

I will post here several interesting tasks that repeatedly occur in my daily business to remind me (or others) of the steps and configurations which have to be done.

First i’ll start with my task to identify the relevant number ranges for a new Section in Plant Maintenance which is going to be operated in the near future. This section will use its own Order-types, Notification-Types, Maintenance- Plans and Equipments. So in every SAP-system the number ranges have to be customized, in our environment the number ranges are not maintained by the SAP- Transport- System, that means in every SAP- System like Development, Test or Production the

number ranges have to be maintained separately via Transaction SNRO

Next step is to find out what range- objects have to be customized.

For the above mentioned objects these are:

  • EQUIP_NR for Equipments and their numbers
  • AUFTRAG for Orders i.e. by  Order-Type
  • MPLA_NR for Maintenance- Plans
  • QMEL_NR for Notifications i.e. Types of notifications

So, via Transaction SNRO these objects need to be configured in every SAP- System.

Daily meditation for April 22, 2014

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Psalm 37:4
Find Your Completion In Christ

Many people are in financial debt today because they are trying to find their security, identity and esteem in material things, instead of in Christ. So they end up buying things that they don’t need to impress people who really don’t care!

This erroneous mindset leads to the destructive habit of folks spending beyond their means, making only partial payments on their monthly credit card bills, and overextending themselves with mortgages they cannot afford and car loans they cannot service. Then, they end up asking God why there is no provision for their debts.

Beloved, being caught in this destructive habit and debt cycle is not God’s heart for His precious children. Let’s understand that having more things doesn’t complete us. Only Jesus can fill that vacuum. So find your security and completion in Christ. You have a treasure in you, One far more precious than anything money can buy. Anchor your security and identity in Jesus and delight yourself in Him alone!

Daily meditation for April 21, 2014: Do not despise humble beginnings

Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.
Zechariah 4:10, NLT
Do Not Despise Humble Beginnings

It’s interesting to see how God never despises the little things.

When the boy brought his five loaves and two fish, the disciple Andrew scoffed, condescendingly patted the boy on his head and said to Jesus, “What are they among so many?” In direct contrast, God did not despise the boy’s small lunch.

So don’t despise the little things that you have right now. See them as your very own “five loaves and two fish” even when people around you mock and belittle you. Learn to disregard such people and lay your little before Jesus. While you and I have no power to multiply, Jesus certainly does!

Beloved, whatever you are building right now in your career, ministry or business, don’t despise the day of small, humble and seemingly insignificant beginnings. Involve Jesus and allow His provision of favor, wisdom and power to multiply and grow the little things in your hands.
